During a consultancy in Amsterdam two major requirements for the GMFTools arose. Up to today, GMFTools was not able to tell GMF to generate RCP code. Another issue was the lack of automation of regenerating a set of diagrams at once. Both features are part of GMFTools (SVN) as of today:

I tried the rcp mode with gmf tools with no luck. Although plug-in mode works like a charm, RCP mode does not. I used the 3.5 sharedEditingDomain template, but errors occur in xxxDocumentProvider. Am I doing something wrong?

hard to say why it doesn’t work. Is your GMFTools installation from CVS or from update site? Although the update site contains these changes already. What are the errors in XXXDocumentProvider? Maybe you want to file a new issue here: http://code.google.com/p/gmftools/issues/list for further discussion.
