Currently I am reading “The Productive Programmer” by Neal Ford. The book has many valuable points and hints on how to speed up yourself. A great hint is given with the key promoter tool. What this tool does is it shows a popup with the key shortcut everytime you invoke an action associated with a shortcut with the mouse. The really cool thing is it can even force you to use the shortcut! That is when invoking an action using your mouse the action is not executed. Instead the key promoter popup shows up and tells you to use the shortcut. Awesome. I just installed it in my Eclipse 3.6 test evironment. It does work there and should work with Galileo, too. See it in action:
